This book arrived all bent and the pages were folded over. I "assumed" this book would be benefical to our whole family. However the very poor condition it reminded me a book a preschooler dug out of their back pack. The package was way to large for suck a small book they also could of benefited from cardboard to not damaged the book. I feel a refund in full plus buyer pays for return shipping. This was almost $10 and a dime at a garage sale. Pics will be provided upon request. Further more books not been looked at or bothered since it arriveved. Tia jenniferProduct details

I just finished reading this book and I must say it was well written. I went to my local shelter to adopt a dog and I'm so happy that I read this book prior to my decision, or should I say my family is happy. I would have adopted the wrong dog if it wasn't for this book. Thank you Jill, we now have our forever dog.
A must read for anyone considering adopting a dog, especially first time owners. Book contains lots of valuable info from choosing a dog, to owning and caring for a dog. Different breeds require different approaches. Different households have different needs and wants from a dog. Unless you have owned or dealt with many different dogs, you may not know what to look for. Jill takes you through the process right rom the start so both owner and dog will thrive happily ever after.
