This story really grabbed my attention from the very beginning. It was well written and included some very interesting twists and turns. I strongly recommend it to folks who enjoy this genre.
This isn't my typical novel, but found this one to be quite good. Set in the 1400's during the reign of Vlad Dragwyla in Romania, the author gives a pretty thorough account of Dragwyla's rule. Many years ago I read Bram Stoker's version and don't have a clear recollection. I think this one is better. I also looked up the historical era on Wikipedia and found that many of the events really did happen. The author has done quite a bit of research into the history and it shows in his novel.
